Health Insurance and Small Business

Important Points concerning Health Insurance
and the Dynamics for the Small Business Employer

Many employers that fall between the size’s of 2 to 100 employees have difficulties with purchasing affordable health care without diminishing their health insurance benefits. It is important to understand that with health insurance just like with any other product or service, you get what you pay for. I would like to make two points:

1. Never buy health insurance from an insurance carrier that you have not heard of. Always make sure that the insurance carrier is either the number one or number two provider in your particular area.

2. Always look at your deductibles and your other out of pocket costs. The higher your deductible the lower your cost. The higher your out-of-pocket costs to lower your costs. We’ll talk about that more in the next blog!
